Maharajah’s Choice began with a simple belief — that the extraordinary flavours of India deserved a place on every Australian table. More than five decades on, that belief still guides everything we make.
Why we exist
For everyone who misses the taste of home.
In 1969 we opened one of Australia’s very first Indian restaurants — long before Indian cuisine had found its place here. As the appetite for authentic flavour grew, we channelled decades of culinary expertise into a thoughtfully crafted range of Australian-owned and branded products, sourcing only the finest ingredients.
Today, Maharajah’s Choice remains a 100% Australian-owned family business, owned by Ostindo International. Every product carries the same passion that opened those restaurant doors more than fifty-five years ago.
